Danielle Buonaiuto is known in New York City as an accomplished organizational leader. Driven by values of community, access, inclusion, and compassion, she works in the fields of choral/vocal music and new music to build organizations with mission-driven policy and programs, equitable structure, and long-term sustainability. She has been a founding member of multiple new music ensembles, including REXDuo with soprano Lisa Perry, the Baltimore-based Lunar Ensemble, and ChamberQUEER, a Brooklyn-based chamber music organization that exists to promote LGBTQ+ composers and performers and build inclusive, intersectional spaces in classical music. Currently, Danielle serves as Executive Director of Musica Viva NY in New York City, co-organizer of ChamberQUEER, and maintains a portfolio of consulting work on topics ranging from website maintenance and social media, to governance and strategic planning. |
